Audi’s RS5 Coupé has been designed to combine stylish looks with classic RS performance, there is a new 2.9l TFSI V6-Biturbo with 450 horsepower. But come on guys, Where’s the V8? Okay, let’s not panic yet, let’s take a look at the V6! A maximum torque of 600 Nm promises a sporty drive, and so do the rest of the numbers: the RS 5 Coupé accelerates from Zero to 100 kmph in just 3.9 seconds, and can keep going all the way up to 280.
It offers a combined fuel consumption of 8.7 litres for every 100 kilometres driven.
The raw power of the brand new enigne is delivered to the quattro all-wheel drive system via eight-speed tiptronic.
The performance of the engine is underscored by the typical RS sound. What does that do for you?, three two one, mmmmm, feels nice, right?.
Sports suspension is of course standard, but you can also order Audi’s Sports Package with Dynamic Ride Control (DRC), ceramic brakes and dynamic steering.
The Audi RS5 Coupé has been slimmed down. The new model weighs 60 KG less than it’s predecessor giving it a total weight of just 1655 kilos!
The interior of the RS 5 Coupé is completely black. Leather steering wheel with shift paddles, sports seats and, of course, the virtual cockpit.
But what does the Audi RS5 Coupé cost? It starts at 80,900 euro. Ouch, that is a lot, but it’s probably still cheaper than keeping 450 real horses, right?
